Ten abducted from Panuco project: Vizsla Silver

Vancouver-based Vizsla Silver said that 10 individuals have been taken from its Panuco project in Concordia, Mexico. The incident is currently under investigation.

As a precautionary measure, certain activities at and near the site have been temporarily suspended.

“Local authorities have been notified, and the company’s crisis management and security response teams are actively engaged,” the miner said in a statement, noting its top priority is the safety and well-being of those involved.

Panuco is situated in an underexplored area of the emerging Western Mexico Silver Belt.
